About the PhD Day
The PhD Day is an annual scientific event that takes place at the University Institute of Health Sciences (IUCS-CESPU). This is a major opportunity for PhD students to socialize and present their research to peers, researchers, and the rest of the academic community. Other students (BSc and MSc), researchers and professors from IUCS are also encourage to participate in this event.
This year, for the first time, the event will be organized by PhD students of Biomedical Sciences from IUCS, and abstracts can be submitted for poster and oral presentation. Furthermore, attendants will be able to learn from invited top researchers from varied scientific areas who will present their work.
Dissemination
Each participant can submit they work for poster or oral presentation, being also encourage to join the constructive discussions that will take place after each talk.
Networking
Networking between participants and the establishment of interdisciplinary collaborations is encourage in this event.
Communication
This event is an opportunity for PhD students to develop both written and oral communication of their work. Furthermore, being a social and scientific event, the PhD Day also aims to strengthen the spirit of community among the PhD students.
